Based at The Wesley Hospital but providing services across all four UnitingCare Health hospitals in Queensland, the WMR Tissue Bank was established in 2007 and is the largest tissue bank of its kind in the state. The WMR Tissue Bank provides the scientific research community with high quality annotated biological samples, both healthy and diseased.
By using the WMR Tissue Bank, this enables researchers to focus on lab based activities rather than recruiting, consenting and collecting samples from willing participants.
