    St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital is a 250 bed facility in Spring Hill, Brisbane, which has been providing health care to patients since 1958. It has earned a reputation as a first class hospital particularly for complex clinical procedures with one of the highest patient complexities in Australia.

    Facilities at St Andrew’s include 15 theatres, three cardiology catheter laboratories, endoscopy suites, an intensive care unit and emergency centre.

    Work is currently underway on a new Hybrid Theatre, which will merge conventional operating theatre components with advanced imaging technology, enabling surgeons to perform highly complex surgery in minimally invasive ways. St Andrew’s will become the first private hospital in Queensland to have such a facility when it is completed in early 2014.

    Specialties at St Andrew’s include cardiology and cardiac surgery, orthopaedics, neurosurgery (including Deep Brain Stimulation), internal medicine, general surgery, vascular surgery, ear, nose and throat (ENT), gynaecology and rehabilitation.
